Kennedy Museum Launches Sunday Arts Program
< < Back to kennedy-museum-launches-sunday-arts-programSunday Arts at the Kennedy, a new program introducing local and regional artists, will kick off Sunday, Nov. 8 with a conversation with actress Shelley Delaney and playwright Merri Biechler.
The pair will discuss how they created Tammy Faye’s Final Audition, a play about 1980s televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker Messner.
The play, produced by Brick Monkey Theater Ensemble, has received rave reviews at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival and the Washington D.C. Fringe Festival, where it performed earlier this year. The show is
headed to Centenary Stage Company in New Jersey in November, before the Athens production in January 2016.
The talk, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. in the Kennedy Museum’s large gallery. A wine and cheese reception will follow. Visit ohio.edu/museum for more information.
