5 Field Hockey Players Named All-MAC Academic Team

To qualify for the Academic All-MAC honor a student-athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests in that specific sport.
Junior Kristin Bunchanan currently has a 3.227 cumulative GPA. Bunchanan started in all 18 games this season and scored nine points and 11 shots. Junior Hannah Kingsbury has a cumulative GPA of 3.322 and participated in all 18 games this season with a total of eight points and 16 shots.
Senior Clarissa Leickly has a 3.585 cumulative GPA. Leickly started and played in all 18 games this season and was the top scoring player with 19 points and 49 shots. Sophomore Maria Russell currently holds a 3.460 GPA and scored 25 points along with 28 shots this season. The fifth named player for the All-MAC Field Hockey Academic team is Megan Silveira. Silveira is a sophomore with a 3.679 GPA, started in 11 games and played in all 18 games this season.
