Ohio Volleyball Receives 3 All-MAC Honors

Seniors Meredith Ashy and Abby Gilleland received first-team All-MAC Honors. Freshman Katie Nelson was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
Gilleland, the 2014 and 2013 MAC Player and Setter of the Year, is receiving honors for the fourth time overall and was named first-team for the third consecutive year. This year, Gilleland has a total of 1,094 assists, placing her third overall in the MAC.
Ashy, the 2014 MAC Defensive Play of the Year, is receiving first-team honors for the third time, also being placed in 2014 and 2012. Ashy places third in the MAC with 5.27 digs per set.
Nelson, a redshirt freshman, has had 63 total blocks on the season, tying her for third on the team. Nelson also tacks on 117 kills and 1.50 kills per set.
