City Parking Updates Behind Schedule

Repairs to the Athens municipal parking garage are currently behind schedule, but the city still plans to have the repairs completed no later than August.
Portions of the garage were recently closed to the public, including during some of the holiday shopping season. Currently, the garage is open up through the fourth floor.
Most of the work so far has centered around structural masonry, steel replacement and serious concrete repairs.
