Lake Street Dive, Charles Bradley Added to NMF ’16
< < Back to lake-street-dive-charles-bradley-added-to-nmf-16Another round of acts have been announced for the 12th annual Nelsonville Music Festival, including up-and-coming pop/rock group Lake Street Dive (performing Saturday, June 4) and soul belter Charles Bradley with his band The Extraordinaires (also on Saturday).
The fest is scheduled for June 2-5 at Hocking College.
Stuart’s Opera House made the announcement earlier today in a press release, which included other additions Nikki Lane (Sunday), Ibeyi, Diarrhea Planet, Town Mountain, My Bubba, Heron Oblivion, The Pines, White Mystery, Last Good Tooth and Adam Torres.
As always, a number of Ohio acts will be performing, including Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments, All Dogs, Angela Perley & The Howlin’ Moons, Swarming Branch, S.W. Hedrick, Drift Mouth, Water Witches, DANA, Dune, Nightstalker and Weedghost.
Those acts join a lineup that includes Randy Newman (Sunday), Gary Clark Jr. (Friday), Courtney Barnett (Thursday), The Tallest Man on Earth (Saturday), Mac DeMarco (Friday), Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats (Thursday), BADBADNOTGOOD (Friday), Angel Olsen (Friday), Fruit Bats, Marco Benevento, Steve Poltz, John Moreland, Michael Hurley, Son Little, All Them Witches, The Wild Reeds, Daniel Bachman, Joan Shelley, Mojoflo, Hanba and Jack Wright. Many more will be announced in the coming weeks.
As in past years, the Nelsonville Music Festival will take place over four days, featuring more than 60 acts on multiple stages, along with camping, kids’ activities, artisan vendors, food, a beer garden and more. For tickets and more information, visit nelsonvillefest.org.
