One Injured in Alexander School Bus Crash
< < Back to one-injured-in-alexander-school-bus-crashA Shade woman was injured in a single-vehicle school bus crash Friday morning, according to authorities.
The driver of the school bus, Kayleigh Stotts, 27, was traveling westbound on State Route 56 when the vehicle came off the right side of the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on the right side of the vehicle, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Athens post.
Stotts was flown from the scene to Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, but the details of her injuries were not given by the highway patrol.
The bus was a 2014 ICBU school bus owned by Alexander Local Schools in Albany.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
