The Pickaway County Grand Jury indicted 52-year-old Rebecca Lee, Friday.
The Circleville Herald reports Lee was placed on administrative leave in November 2014 pending an investigation into charges of misconduct in office. She was terminated from her position on December 22, 2014.
Discovered during the investigation was Lee’s alleged unauthorized use of the PCVSC credit card. From 2009 to 2014, Lee allegedly accrued $12,459.84 in questionable expenses that included charges, late fees and cash advances from various restaurants, casinos, resorts, banks and a dentist’s office.
The report also states that since Lee had not used the centralized filing system at PCVSC, veteran files and claims have been neglected and mishandled.
Lee faces 10 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
