The Athens County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a search warrant on two residences at 19933 Felton Road, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The estimated value of the plants was not available, according to Sheriff Rodney Smith.
Firearms were also seized as a result of the investigation.
McComas is being held at the jail on $10,000 bond, according to jail records. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.
