‘Left-Handed Musings’ By Joe Brumfield Opens At ARTS/West
< < Back toThursday, Dec. 8, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will mark the opening reception for Left-Handed Musings, a series of mixed media work by Joe Brumfield that will hang in the ARTS/West gallery space, 132 W. State St. Athens, OH, Dec. 7, 2016 – Jan. 3, 2017, business hours 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Thursday; call first for extended hours 740-592-4315.
Joe Brumfield often draws inspiration from works of the ’60s underground comic scene, Eastern spirituality, iconic photographs, music, film, and the work of social justice activists.
The reception is free to the public and will serve light refreshments.
The mission of ARTS/West is to make facilities, resources, and opportunities available to arts organizations, individual artists, and community residents. ARTS/West harnesses community focus for all individuals engaged in the creation, performance, and exhibition of the arts and promotes activities preserving the beauty, heritage, and culture of our town.
The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
