This weekend, genre bopping duo Jamie-Sue Seal and John Latini (Bottle Rocket Cabaret) are headed to Ohio University’s Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium for an installment of the 10th season of their “Un-Valentine’s Show: Songs and Tales of Unforgiveness, Heartbreak, Dysfunction, and Revenge.”
The show flips through a myriad of musical styles, all whilst spinning tales of romantic woe and unpleasant, highly emotional entanglements.
WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke with Latini about the development of the intimate, chemistry-laden act; as well as his most recent solo work and his thoughts on the fast approaching romantic holiday.
The show, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m., is a Stage Door Series installment for Ohio University’s Performing Arts and Concert Series. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door and available for purchase here.
