One year after President Donald Trump took office, hundreds of people in Athens took to the streets to protest his administration and its policies. The march was one of many taking place in towns and cities across the country.  Here are images from the march in Athens.

While waiting for the Women’s March in Athens to begin on Saturday, Ohio University Professor Julie Elman struck up a conversation with a woman from McArthur — and after the march, created a small sketch of her encounter. Elman teaches publication design in the School of Visual Communication. (Illustration by Julie Elman)
