All Ages, Entirely Free Appalachian Music Week July 30 – August 3 at Stuart’s

July 30 through August 3 Stuart’s Opera House will be offering an entirely free, inter-generational Appalachian music week, featuring workshops for various Appalachian instruments, a free lunch with vegan and vegetarian options, open jam sessions, and much more. The week is a result of a collaboration between Stuart’s Opera House, the Nelsonville Public Library, and ARTS/West. All that is required is pre-registration by Friday, July 28 at stuartsoperahouse.org.

WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke with Emily Prince, the education director at Stuart’s, as well as Erin Glaser, an education coordinator at Stuart’s, about the upcoming week.
