Unofficial Election Results for Tuscarawas County

Voters in Tuscarawas County have rejected Dover and Garaway school district emergency levies, according to unofficial results.
The Dover levy was approved at 18,875 to 12,286 votes and the Garaway levy at 1,328 to 1,147 votes.
The general funds levy of the Village of Tuscarawas did not pass. Voters rejected the levy 231 to 164.
Voters in Buckeye Joint Vocational School District approved 1-mill renewal levy that will continue a tax that has been in place since 1994. The levy will fund salaries, benefits and permanent improvements.
Funds to help Indian Valley School District were approved by a 59 percent to 41 percent vote.
New Philadelphia School District voters agreed on 6.5-mill funding for emergency requirements.
Mineral-Sandy Joint Ambulance District will also be receiving funding after a 295 to 94 vote.
The villages of Dennison, Midvale and Port Washington renewed levies at 67 percent, 68 percent, 72 percent respectively.
Strasburg police protection passed with a 74 percent vote to 26 percent.
Over half of Fairfield and Franklin Township voters approved their fire levies.
Franklin Township’s roads and bridges levy passed with a 516-285 vote.
Voters in Sugarcreek Township passed both cemetery and roads and bridges levies with more than 60 percent approval.
Expense levies in Union and Washington Townships were approved with 56 percent and 71 percent of the vote.
Customers of Auburn Township Electric succeeded in their fight to lower prices of resources in their homes with a 185 to 94 vote.
