A Chat With Luke Miller of Lotus

Lotus is a celebrated electronic jam band that draws heavily from funk and jazz musical traditions. The band was formed in 1999 at Goshen College in Indiana, and is now based out of both Denver, CO and Philadelphia, PA. The group has developed a devoted fan base over the course of their 20-year career, attracting listeners interested in observing a sound that can oscillate seamlessly from frenzied jam to laid back groove.
Later this month, Lotus will once again headline Nelson Ledges Quarry Park’s Summerdance Festival, an honor that the group has observed every year except 2012 since the festival’s creation in 2008.
