Stuart’s Audio Production Music Program Applications Open Now

Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio will host a FREE Audio Production Music Program as part of the Stuart’s Arts Education program and applications are open now! Stuart’s Opera House has created a free program of study for high school students in Southeast Ohio designed to teach the basic skills of audio production in the modern recording studio environment. Students will learn the basics of analog and digital production tools and techniques to record performances. Additionally, students will learn how to mix and prepare music for release into contemporary listening mediums, such as streaming, digital download, CD, and vinyl. The program meets a number of objectives and standards set by the Ohio Department of Education and national Common Core Standards. Standards include Music, Fine Arts, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Technology. Applications are available now at www.stuartsoperahouse.org.

New sessions begin on Wednesday, September 11. The program runs concurrent with the Nelsonville-York School District, including calamity days. The program is free and open to high school students in Southeast Ohio! Please submit your application as soon as possible because space in the program is limited.
