Authorities Probe Deadly Shooting, Chase in Southern Ohio

Adams County Sheriff Kimmy Rogers says a robbery was reported Friday morning in the village of Seaman. He says two people were shot at the gas station. One died. The other was taken to a hospital.
A county deputy and the Ohio State Highway Patrol then tried to stop a driver, and a chase began. It continued eastbound into Pike County.
Authorities say the suspect’s vehicle swerved across the road and stopped. The highway patrol says the suspect was found dead in his vehicle of a self-inflicted gunshot.
The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is helping to investigate multiple crime scenes.
