Hocking Co. Sheriff Reports Three Overdoses In One Night
< < Back to hocking-co-sheriff-reports-three-overdoses-in-one-nightLOGAN (WOUB) — Law enforcement in Hocking County are investigating multiple “overdose incidents,” all that happened on Saturday night.
In a press release posted on their Facebook page, the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office said three overdoses happened throughout the county and “are believed to be linked to a narcotics dealer who lives in Logan, Ohio.”
“It is our sincere pleading that anyone struggling with addiction heed this warning and not use any narcotics purchased recently which are believed to contained fentanyl, A FATAL NARCOTIC,” the release stated.
The sheriff’s office didn’t release any further details on the incidents, but encouraged individuals struggling with addiction to reach out to the sheriff’s office or Project HOPE (Hocking Overdose Partnership Endeavor) for support and assistance.
