For president, Republican Donald Trump led with 79 percent of the vote: 10,804 votes to Democrat Joe Biden’s 3,193 votes.
Jackson County voters favored Mary E. Binegar to Brenda P. Shea for the District 10 State Board of Education with a 4,986 to 4,571 vote. A total of 20 counties vote for this position.
For judge of the Court of Common Pleas probate and juvenile division, residents gave 7,165 of their votes to Justin Skaggs and 6,183 to Randy Dupree.
The city of Jackson 1.5 percent municipal income tax levy was favored with 1,422 for to 1,176 against.
Voters in the city of Jackson also favored the 1.5 mills Fairmount Cemetery maintenance levy, with 1,618 votes for and 951 votes against.
The Bloomfield Township 2 mills fire protection levy passed with 330 for and 157 against.
Residents favored the Coalton 2 mills cemetery maintenance levy renewal by 88 votes for and 71 votes against. But the Coalton 1.75 mills parks and recreation levy did not succeed, with 75 for and 82 against.
The Franklin Township 1 mill fire protection levy passed with 711 for and 361 against.
Hamilton Township residents voted in favor of the 1.5 mill fire protection levy with 173 for and 99 against.
The Liberty Township 1 mill fire protection levy passed with 573 for and 280 against.
The Milton Township 1 mill cemetery maintenance levy passed with 319 for and 158 against.
The Madison Jefferson Joint Fire District 1 mill fire protection levy passed with 1,664 for and 527 against.
The Jackson County 1.5 mills EMS levy passed with 8,545 for and 5,009 against.
