Cutler Station Releases Exclusive Indrid Cold Inspired Track ‘The Man In the Lantern’

On November 2, 1966, sewing machine salesman Woodrow Derenberger was driving home on Route 77 to Mineral Wells, WV from Marietta, OH when a “metallic cigar-shaped craft” appeared and blocked the roadway. What followed was an infamous encounter with a mysterious being that referred to itself as ‘Indrid Cold.’
On June 17, 2021, Vincent OH’s Cutler Station released a song about the encounter between man and paranormal entity, entitled “The Man In the Lantern.” The song was recorded pre-pandemic with Eddie Ashworth, an Ohio University School of Media Arts & Studies instructor with an extensive recording career working with bands such as Pennywise, Sublime, Cordial Sins, Water Witches, and Qiet.
