TVC-Ohio Boys title race heats up, Trimble dethrones Waterford in TVC-Hocking

This past week of matches saw numerous changes made in the boys’ TVC-Ohio and TVC-Hocking standings.

TVC-Ohio Standings

Wellston surged to first place in the TVC-Ohio Boys following two wins against Nelsonville-York and Belpre this past week. Vinton County moved up to second place and continue their win streak after recording a win against conference opponent River Valley on Friday. Alexander moved up to third place following two conference wins against Meigs and River Valley, but a loss against Warren prevented them from taking the top seed. Meigs, who was the top seed last week, fell four spots following their loss to Alexander Friday. Athens slid from Fourth to sixth following consecutive losses against Meigs and Nelsonville-York.

2nd Vinton County (3-3, 2-0)

3rd  Alexander (4-4, 2-1)

4th  Meigs (4-3, 2-1)

5th  Nelsonville-York (3-3, 1-2)

6th  Athens (1-6, 0-2)

7th  River Valley (1-6, 0-3)

TVC-Hocking Standings

The TVC-Hocking Boys race saw major changes made over the past week. Trimble was able to secure the top spot after recording three wins against Waterford, Eastern and Caldwell. Federal Hocking moved up to second after a big win against Conference opponent Belpre on Tuesday. South Gallia moved up from fourth to third after recording a conference win against Eastern on Tuesday. Waterford saw the biggest fall in rankings this past week, plummeting from first to fourth after a loss against Trimble on Tuesday.

4th Waterford (5-1, 2-1)
