MIAMI, Fla. (WOUB) — A strong second quarter helped Ohio Women’s Basketball (5-3) to an eventual 74-60 win over UMass Lowell (3-6) in the first game of the FIU Holiday Hoops Showdown.

Cece Hooks led the Bobcats with 25 points.

The senior guard became the all-time leader for Ohio Basketball in field goals scored after Monday’s game.

Ohio returns to action Tuesday against Binghamton for the second game of the FIU Holiday Hoops Showdown.
