Federal Hocking Lady Lancers look to grow in ’21-’22

The Federal Hocking Lancers enter the 2022 season with a heavy underclassman roster.
Following a season where the Lancers placed third in the TVC, Federal Hocking said goodbye to All-State special mention Paige Tolson.
This season, Federal Hocking has three seniors on a roster full of underclassman.
“We are just looking for good leadership,” head coach Amos Cottrill said. “[The seniors have] got the most varsity experience so we are just trying to get them to fill some of the holes that were left last year from the seniors.”
With the amount of underclassman on the roster, that allows some of the younger players to get leadership roles.
Such is the case for the team captain, freshman Larissa McDaniel.
The Lancers are off to a rocky start and will look to their senior leaders to guide them through the season with hopes of competing in the TVC and making a potential run in the playoffs.
