Here are the unofficial 2022 general election results for Scioto County

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Scioto County.  

Republican Bryan Keith Davis earned a position as Scioto County Commissioner, with 70% of the vote. Democrat Joshua A. Lawson earned 30% of the vote. 

Voters in the city of Portsmouth voted down a gender-neutral language change to the city charter by a vote of 2,172 to 1,414.  

Voters in the city of Portsmouth voted down an amendment to the city charter by a vote of 1,697 to 1,451.  

Voters in Scioto County approved a Children’s Services Property Tax Levy replacement and increase (3 mills/10 years) by a vote of 10,708 to 9,594.  

Voters in the Village of South Webster approved a Current Expenses Property Tax Levy renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 220 to 79.  

Voters in Clay Township approved a Roads and Bridges Property Tax Levy replacement (1.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 771 to 419.  

Voters in Clay Township approved a Fire Protection Property Tax Levy replacement (1.25 mills/5 years) by a vote of 786 to 397.  

Voters in Harrison Township approved a Streets and Roads Property Tax levy replacement (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 813 to 477.  

Voters in Nile Township approved a Police Protection Property Tax Levy replacement (3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 533 to 304.  

Voters in Nile Township approved a Fire Protection Property Tax Levy replacement (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 574 to 258.  

Voters in Valley Township approved an Emergency Services Property Tax Levy renewal (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 553 to 281.  

Voters in Green Township approved an Ambulance Services Property Tax Levy replacement (1 mill/continuing) by a vote of 720 to 535.  

Voters in Green Township approved an Emergency Medical Services Property Tax Levy replacement (0.5 mill/continuing) by a vote of 737 to 524.  

Voters in Green Township approved an Emergency Medical and Ambulance Services Levy replacement (4 mills/continuing) by a vote of 732 to 530.  

Voters in Scioto County approved an Ambulance District Property Tax Levy replacement (3 mills/continuing) by a vote of 1,156 to 748.
