Here are the unofficial 2022 general election results for Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Washington County.  

Voters in the Village of Beverly approved a proposed municipal income tax, a .25 percent increase, by a vote of 219 to 177. 

Voters in the Village of Matamoras approved a proposed tax levy, 2 mils / 5 years, by a vote of 158 to 101. 

Voters in Belpre voted down a Proposed Bond Issue and Tax Levy for the Belpre City School District, by a vote of 1,822 to 1,571. 

Voters in Fearing Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy, replacement of streets and roads, 1 mill/5 years, by a vote of 279 to 95. 

Voters in Fearing Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy, replacement for Fire and Emergency, 2 mills / 5 years, by a vote of 279 to 95. 

Voters in Marietta Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy renewal for the Fire Protection, .5 mills / 5 years, by a vote of 283 to 92. 

Voters in Newport Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy replacement for Fire an Emergency Protection, 3 mills/ 5 years, by a vote of 425 to 310. 

Voters in Palmer Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy renewal of EMS services, .67 mills/ 5 years, by a vote of 164 to 39. 

Voters in Warren Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy renewal of the Fire Protection and EMS Services, 1 mill/ 5 years , by a vote of 1,108 to 458. 

Voters in Watertown approved a Proposed Tax Levy replacement for Fire Protection and EMS Services, 1.5 mills/ 5 years, by a vote of 493 to 161. 

Voters in West Muskingum Township approved a Proposed Tax Levy replacement of Fire and EMS, 4 mills/ 5 years, by a vote of 433 to 179.
