Ohio Ready to Learn

March – May Workshop Series

We are closing in on completing our workshops for 2023. If you haven’t joined us yet, there is still time. If you are interested in a session please register soon. Workshops with less than 5 participants will be rescheduled. We have lots of fun materials and PBS resources to share with you.

Virtual attendees will receive workshop materials and books in the mail after workshop completion. In-person participants will have the opportunity to network with other providers, create materials for your program, and receive books and other materials to support the topics from the workshop. Participants who attend three of WOUB’s sessions will be entered into a drawing for one of 10 Kindle Fire Tablets pre-loaded with PBS Kids games and apps.

Media Literacy Academy

March courses are posted for you to access. We are focusing on two of the PBS Media Literacy Microcredentials; Creating a Code of Conduct and Critically Analyzing Media. There is still time to join us. These lessons are a great way to earn professional development hours or to get grad credit. You can work at your own pace or join our “office hours” to connect with your colleagues doing this work.
