ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — A local organization is hoping to make Athens a better place by providing needed resources like food to those in need.
The Athens chapter of Food Not Bombs provides free food and other resources to anyone in the community, regardless of circumstances.
Organizers say non-violent social change builds solidarity and addresses resource disparities.
Their distributions take place the first day of every month. Locations can be found on the group’s Facebook page.
