NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) – Eager applause greeted Sam Moss, the extraordinary multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, as he took to the Creekside Stage at the 2023 Nelsonville Music Festival Saturday afternoon. Hailing from Virginia, this folk artist, celebrated for his introspective and vibrant music, immediately captivated the audience with his soulful vocals and incredible lyrical prowess.

Moss has been recording music since 2008 and has maintained a steady stream of releases over the years. Highlights include 2013’s No Kingdom, (Not Nothing Records), 2016’s Fable (Lost Honey Records), and most recently, 2020’s Shapes (Lost Honey Records).
