VINCENT, Ohio (WOUB) The Morgan Raiders came down to Vincent for a fourth consecutive week two rivalry matchup with the Warren Warriors, securing a victory of 24-21.

Morgan won the last three faceoffs, so Warren came in hoping to end their streak Friday night. The Warriors opened the game up with a slow field goal drive, but they established early going 3-0 against the Raiders.

However, Morgan wasted little time as they answered with a big touchdown drive on the opposite side of the field. RB Tanner Bankes took this one in for the Raiders, which put them ahead 7-3 heading into the second quarter.

To open things up, WR Tanner Pepper scored on another long drive for the Warriors. This put Warren back ahead 10-7 with 9:45 remaining in the first half.

Without hesitation, Hayden Bankes drove the ball 89 yards to the house for a massive kick return touchdown. This made it 14-10 in favor of Morgan.

The Warriors shut down the Raiders on a crucial fourth down that allowed Warren to take control once again. QB Jacob Sealey found his favorite weapon Tanner Pepper for a crucial 34-yard gain that set up the short score for RB Eric Carr.

Morgan had the ball at Warren’s 10-yard-line, went for it on 4th and 2, and resulting in a fumble forced by LB Aden Strahler, giving Warren the ultimate momentum boost going into halftime.

The Warriors kept things at a steady pace throughout the 2nd half, winning 24-21. The run game gave them the advantage all night, and it ended up being the reason they took this one home. RB Eric Carr was doing it all for Warren, finishing with 150 yards and 2 TDs.
