Here are the 2024 general election results for Muskingum County

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 71 percent of registered voters in Muskingum County cast ballots in the 2024 general election. 

Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 71 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 28 percent. 

In the race for U.S. Senate, Muskingum County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 65 percent of the vote followed by Democrat Sherrod Brown with 30 percent. 

A majority of Muskingum County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 67 percent of the vote. 

In one race for County Commissioner, Republican Cindy Cameron received 27,094 votes to win. Democrat Justin Wyatt received 9,820. 

In another race for County Commissioner, Republican Drake Prouty received 26,541 votes to win. Democrat John Furek received 10,311.  

In the race for Prosecuting Attorney, Republican Ron Welch received 29,695 votes to win.  

In the race for Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, Wendy Sowers received 29,512 votes to win.  

In the race for Sheriff, Republican Matthew Lutz received 30,986 votes to win. 

In the race for County Recorder, Republican Cindy Rodgers received 29,436 votes to win. 

In the race for County Treasurer, Republican Todd Hixson received 29,719 votes to win. 

In the race for County Engineer, Republican Mark Eicher received 29,431 votes to win. 

In the race for Coroner, Republican Seth Vensil received 30,232 votes to win. 

In the race for Judge of the County Court, Scott Rankin received 21,633 votes to win.  

Voters in Gratiot Village approved an expenses replacement levy of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 20-15. 

Voters in Muskingum County approved a Rambo Memorial Health Center renewal levy of 0.4 mills for five years with a vote of 20,084-16,802. 

Voters in the Village of New Concord approved an infrastructure replacement levy of 3.2 mills for five years with a vote of 439-253. 

Voters in Norwich Village will have to wait for official results as an expenses renewal of 5 mills for five years has tied with votes of 23-23. 

Voters in Philo Village approved an expenses renewal of 2.5 mills for five years with a vote of 153-124. 

Voters in the Village of Roseville approved a cemetery renewal of 1.2 mills for five years with a vote of 100-95. 

Voters in the Village of Roseville approved a parks and recreation renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 113-83. 

Voters in Harrison Township approved parks and recreation renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 344-317. 

Voters in Harrison Township approved an emergency services renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 410-260. 

Voters in Jackson Township voted down a cemetery renewal of 0.6 mills for five years with a vote of 565-530. 

Voters in Monroe Township voted down an infrastructure additional of 0.25 mills for five years with a vote of 104-76. 

Voters in Monroe Township voted down a cemetery additional of 0.25 mills for five years with a vote of 121-55. 

Voters in Muskingum Township voted down an infrastructure additional of 2 mills for 10 years with a vote of 1560-940. 

Voters in Newton Township voted down an emergency services replacement and increase of 5 mills with a vote of 1255-976. 

Voters in Salem Township approved an additional emergency services tax levy of 1 mill with a vote of 217-206. 

Voters in the Franklin Local School District turned down a levy renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 2,683-2,610. 

Voters in the River View Local School District approved a levy renewal of 1.8 mills for five years with a vote of 2-0.  

Voters in the Norwich Union Fire District approved a levy renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 699-271. 

Voters in Springfield Township turned down an infrastructure renewal and increase levy of 4 mills for five years with a vote of 969-701. 

Voters in Jackson Township approved an emergency services renewal levy of 2.5 mills for five years with a vote of 315-271. 

Voters in Jackson Township approved an infrastructure renewal levy of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 299-280.
