Here are the 2024 general election results for Tuscarawas County
< < Back to here-are-the-2024-general-election-results-for-tuscarawas-countyTUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 73 percent of registered voters in Tuscarawas County cast ballots in the 2024 general election.
Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 71 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 28 percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Tuscarawas voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 64 percent of the vote followed by Democrat Sherrod Brown with 32 percent.
A majority of Tuscarawas County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 67 percent of the vote.
In the race for county commissioner, Republican Mitch Pace received 28,190 votes to win. Democrat Kent Watson received 12,310 votes.
In the race for county recorder, Republican Lori Gardner received 26,607 votes to win. Democrat David DiDonato received 13,571 votes.
Voters in Uhrichsville approved a recreation levy renewal of 0.5 mill for five years with a vote of 855-691.
Voters in Gnadenhutten approved a current operating expenses levy renewal of 1.5 mills for five years with a vote of 453-206.
Voters in Strasburg approved a parks levy renewal of 0.4 mill for five years with a vote of 826-570.
Voters in Mill Township approved an ambulance service levy renewal of 0.5 mill for five years with a vote of 1,209-608.
Voters in Warwick Township approved a fire protection levy replacement of 1 mill with a vote of 761-503.
Voters in the New Philadelphia City School District voted down a bond issue of 5.9 mills and an additional levy of 1 mill with a vote of 6,290-3,700.
Voters in Gnadenhutten and Clay Township approved a cemetery levy renewal of 0.5 mill for five years with a vote of 698-295.
Voters in Bucks Township approved an ambulance service levy renewal of 1.6 mills for five years with a vote of 185-146.
