Athens and Ohio University Officials Encourage Safe Festing

Ohio University and Athens city officials are urging students to make smart decisions during the upcoming Spring Festival season.
In a press release Ohio University President Roderick McDavis and Athens mayor Paul Wiehl say they want to ensure that Athens continues to be a safe and beautiful place to study, work and live.
The festivals including Palmer fest numberfest and Mill Fest — which is set for this weekend.
In a press release, officials say they’ll be focusing on enforcing nuisance party, open container and noise ordinances.
