Toledo officials are finalizing an incentives package this week in an effort to keep Jeep Wrangler production in the northwest Ohio city.

The city hasn’t released details on what it will offer to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, but Toledo’s development director tells The Blade newspaper that the package will be in the company’s hands by Friday.

Fiat Chrysler is considering moving the Wrangler assembly line out of Toledo so it can be made with an aluminum body. But the head of the company has said he’s committed to keeping the same number of jobs in Toledo because of how much he admires the workforce at the plant.

The city is partnering with Lucas County, the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority and JobsOhio as it crafts its incentive package.
