Accurso, Thompson Named All-MAC

Ohio junior distance runners Juli Accurso and Melissa Thompson earned All-MAC honors after their successful seasons and performances at this past weekend’s MAC Outdoor Championships.
Melissa Thompson earned second team honors and this is the fourth All-MAC honor of her career. She broke the Ohio school record in the 1,500m Run at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 4:26.04, almost three seconds faster than the previous record.
Juli Accurso earned first team All-MAC honors, the fifth All-MAC honor of her career. She won the 5,000m Sunday with a time of 16:36.65. Accurso also earned a point for the Bobcats in the 1,500m with an eighth place finish.
