Krauss Recalled By Astros

Marc Krauss, former Ohio Bobcat outfielder, received the call to return to the Houston Astros after some time with the Houston’s Minor League affiliate, the Oklahoma City RedHawks. He hopes to make an impact as he already has appeared in 32 Major League games.
Krauss starred for the 'Cats for three years. He was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 2009, the first to do so in Ohio history. That season he finished with 27 home runs and a .402 batting average.
Krauss was selected in the second round to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2009. Krauss has 506 career games in the Minor League with 73 home runs and a batting average of .277 with 287 RBIs.
Krauss made his Major League debut on June 21, 2013. He made an impact for the Astros by playing in 32 games with three home runs and a batting average of .169 in his previous stint for the team. The Astros currently hold the last place position in the American League with the record of 45-93 in the midst of a three-game series with the Minnesota Twins.
