Miller @ Trimble

Sporting pink socks and Under Armour, the Trimble Tomcats, put a 55-0 beating on Miller Friday night at home.

The Trimble fan base was decked out in shades from magenta to fuschia, as the Tomcats recognized those suffering from breast cancer.

The Tomcats’ performance in the first half was nothing short of dominant. Trimble racked up 34 points before heading to the locker room, keeping Miller at bay.

The Tomcats ran for 295 yards and two scores as a team. Quarterback Konner Standley went 10-for-13 passing with 113 yards, three touchdowns and an interception on the night. Standley also contributed 98 yards on the ground.

Miller quarterback Garrett Sinift completed six of 15 passes for 80 yards and had two interceptions.

The Tomcats’ defense posted its fourth shutout of the season, holding Miller to a total of 158 yards — 78 rushing and 80 passing.

The Wahama White Falcons are still the only team to score on Trimble this season, with 7 points back in Week 2.

Waterford @Wahama

Wahama won its third straight game in blowout fashion Friday, victimizing the visiting Waterford Wildcats, 54-6.

Friday night of week 5 shaped up to be a picturesque fall evening, as the White Falcons faithful piled on the blankets and clutched hot chocolate to keep warm while cheering on Wahama.

The White Falcons’ offense had a total of 387 yards in the win. Running back Kane Roush led the way with 3 touchdowns, bringing his total to 13 scores in the past three games.

Roush ran back an 88-yard punt return late in the first quarter to swing the momentum. He carried the ball five times with a total of 126 yards rushing.

Colton Neal carried the ball six times for a total of 148 yards. Neal had two touchdowns of 53 and 70 yards.

Waterford had 167 total yards in the defeat.
