OU Board Of Trustees To Receive Capital Improvement Plan Update
< < Back to ou-board-trustees-receive-capital-improvement-plan-updateThe Ohio University Board of Trustees will be presented with an update to the university’s six year capital improvement plan at its meeting Thursday.
The plan, updated every two years, lays out major construction and renovation projects for fiscal year 2015 to 2020. In presentation materials posted online ahead of the meeting the university says it plans on completing $970 million worth of projects.
Among the projects under the plan is an estimated $90 million Interdisciplinary Science Facility, $33 million for renovations to Alden Library, $30 million in renovations to Seigfred Hall and $32.1 million in renovations and additions to McCracken Hall.
The university says it will take on an additional $473 million dollars of debt through FY 2020.
