Kiyanna Black Named MAC East Co-Player of the Week

Senior guard Kiyanna Black was named the MAC East Co-Player of the Week. Black led the Ohio Women’s Basketball team offensively in its Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament on Nov. 27-28.
In their first day of competition, Black’s team high 17 points lifted them 63-56 over Indiana, giving them its first win over a Big 10 opponent since 1994.
Despite falling to Vanderbilt 62-59 on the second day of the tournament, Black scored a season-high 25 points and collected four rebounds and a steal.
During the weekend’s play, Black finished with 42 points, and went 14- of-33 from the field and 9-25 from three-point range.
The Bobcats next game is Thursday, Dec. 3 against IPFW in the Convocation Center at 11 am.
