Bobcats Awarded Seven 2013 All-MAC Football Honors
< < Back toThe Mid-American Conference released its list for the 2013 All-MAC Football Teams and Postseason Awards on Thursday with the Ohio Bobcats taking home seven different honors.
Redshirt sophomore defensive back Devin Bass received two awards, as he was named the 2013 All-MAC First Team Kick Return Specialist as well as being put on the 2013 ALL-MAC Second Team Defense as a defensive back.
Redshirt senior Travis Carrie was also honored twice, as he was named 2013 All-MAC First Team Punt Return Specialist and put on the 2013 All-MAC Third Team Defense as a defensive back.
Redshirt sophomore placekicker Josiah Yazdani, in addition to being named MAC East Special Teams Kicker of the Week for the past two consecutive weeks, was named to the All-MAC Second Team Offense in the position of placekicker.
Redshirt senior wide receiver Donte Foster joins Yazdani on the All-MAC Second Team Offense.
The future of the Bobcats’ season is still undecided, but Ohio will know if it will receive a bowl bid by Sunday Dec. 8.
