Campbell Earns MAC Honors for 2nd Week in a row

Campbell averaged a team-high of 24.5 points and 15.5 rebounds last week leading the Bobcats to another pair of Mid-American Conference wins. Ohio has now won five straight games and is sitting in second place in the conference at 18-8, 9-5.
The junior, forward’s performance hit another career-high on Tuesday when Campbell posted 33 points. He also tallied 11 rebounds adding to his team-high 13th double-double for the season. Ohio dominated Eastern Michigan in an 86-64 win.
Campbell had another star performance on Saturday, Feb. 20 against long-time rival Miami in the “Battle of the Bricks” showdown in Athens, Ohio. Campbell’s pulled down a game-high 20 rebounds and scored 16 points in 36 minutes on the floor. The Bobcats went on to defeat the RedHawks, 76-64.
Antonio Campbell is the first to acquire 20 boards in a game, since Reggie Keely’s performance against Akron in 2010. His performance this past week earned him his fourth straight double-double giving him 14 total this season.
