WV Atty. Gen. Urging Residents To Support Local Business

West Virginia's attorney general is urging residents to support local businesses hurt by the chemical spill and its resulting water crisis.
Many restaurants, stores and other businesses were forced to close when last week's spill contaminated the water supply and left about 300,000 residents without water for any purpose other than flushing toilets.
Attorney General Patrick Morrissey says now that the water is coming back on in some areas, he hopes residents will support neighborhood business owners and employees who were unable to work. He says small businesses, especially restaurants, operate with small margins and going several days without customers can put them in a make-or-break situation.
He says the closures also have hurt some employees who may have gone without pay because of the crisis.
