Campbell Declares for NBA Draft
< < Back to campbell-declares-for-nba-draftRising senior forward and 2015-16 MAC Player of the Year, Antonio Campbell, has announced that he will declare his eligibility for the 2016 NBA Draft.
Campbell will have the opportunity to go through pre-draft workouts for NBA teams. In addition to those workouts, Campbell is now eligible to partake in the NBA Draft Combine if he is invited to participate.
Even though he has declared for the draft, Campbell still has the opportunity to return to the Bobcats for his senior season. Because he will not hire an agent, Campbell has the opportunity to withdraw his name from the draft and retain his NCAA eligibility for the 2016-17 season. The deadline to withdraw his name is May 25.
After averaging 17.1 points and 10.2 rebounds per game, Campbell received a slew of postseason honors. He was named a 2015-16 Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention in addition to being named a First-Team All-MAC selection.
