Drug Sweep Nets 26 Arrests In Southeast Ohio

State and local authorities say they've arrested 26 people following an investigation into drug trafficking in southeast Ohio.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine's office said Friday that agents with the Major Crimes Task Force arrested the suspects in Gallia and Meigs counties.

A total of 51 charges were filed relating to the trafficking of drugs that included heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, LSD and several types of prescription pills. The suspects range in age from 20 to 55.

Warrants have been issued for 17 other suspects
