Two people were arrested in separate incidents at a trailer court in The Plains on Tuesday.

The first incident to happen at Tomoko Trailer Court was a report of a stabbing at about 3 p.m.

Dispatchers said someone was reportedly stabbed in the arm.

While responding to Lot 1 in the trailer court, located on Bean Road, deputies were told the suspect had left the area, according to a report by the Athens County Sheriff’s Office.

A green vehicle was stopped and T.J. Schultz, 36, of North Plains Road, was in the vehicle.

Other deputies went to the scene of the stabbing, and as a result of the investigation, Schultz was arrested in connection with the crime.

Schultz, who was charged with felonious assault, had a preliminary hearing set for May 1 in Athens Municipal Court.

Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.

Schultz was booked in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and remains incarcerated.

Four hours later at Lot 39 in the trailer court, deputies responded to a call that a male had overdosed, though it was not specified what the man had taken.

Seeley Hall was found unconscious, but deputies resuscitated him using CPR.

“Hall ultimately refused to go to the hospital, becoming aggressive with the ambulance staff,” a report from the sheriff’s office stated.

He was transported to the regional jail for disorderly conduct by intoxication and an officer from the Adult Parole Authority was contacted in regard to the arrest.

Hall’s most recent case in Athens County Common Pleas Court was a 2008 case in which he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs.
