Vinton County, Waterford Crack Top Ten in Associated Poll

Vinton County cemented itself as No. 6 in Division II after another perfect week that moved the Vikings to 19-1. The Vikings reached the 100-point mark for the second time this season at River Valley and then defeated Alexander and Logan later in the week.
Vinton County has two remaining regular season games before the playoff tournament begins. The Vikings snagged the top seed in their section and will play the winner of Marietta and New Lexington on Feb. 25 at Logan High School.

The Wildcats had just enough points to be ahead of Fort Loramie to take No. 10 in Ohio’s Division IV. Waterford accounted for 32 voting points to Fort Loramie’s 30 points.
Waterford managed to stay in the No. 10 spot despite losing to Warren on Saturday.
Waterford wraps up the regular season with games against Southern and Belpre. The Wildcats took the top seed and will see the winner of Eastern and Green Feb. 28 at Northwest High School.
