Friday July 6th – Athens County Dixie Stompers

The Dixie Stompers are a band that focuses on authentic early New Orleans Jazz from the teens and twenties; the root source of all American music. Their set lists come from the earliest recordings from the beginning of the century.” Coal Car Blues”, “Aggravating Mama”, “Sage Hen Strut”, and “Here Come the Hot Tamale Man” are just some of the tunes. This is the original party music of America! The six piece band includes soprano sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, tuba and drums, just like the original marching bands from the streets of New Orleans!

Doors open at 5:30pm, a cash bar and food by Mauvette will be available. Bring the whole family and boogie on our patio!
