The Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery will host its second Virtual Teen Science Cafe on Saturday, November 28th from 12-1pm EST. This is a free event which is run by teens and is open to all teens. Southeast Ohio Teen Science Cafes provide an opportunity for teens to discuss and participate in hands-on activities with scientists and professionals in STEM (and STEAM, STEM+Arts). Thanks to a collaboration with The Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio, this month’s Cafe presenter is Gorilla Doctor, Dr. Ricky Okello. Dr. Okello works in Uganda to monitor the health and safety of habituated mountain gorillas. Teens can join the Zoom call on Saturday at http://www.ovmod.org/tsc.
