The unofficial 2021 General Election results for Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — The contested races for Harrison County have been decided. The unofficial results in the primary ended with only 23.54% of registered voters in Harrison County casting their votes.
There are four winners for Jewett Village Council: Joshua Walters received 112 votes, Paul Prevot Jr. received 105 votes, Tammy M. Verhovec received 75 votes and Steven Stewart received 70 votes.
There are two winners for Archer Township Trustee: Aaron L. Dodds received 42 votes and Troy Blackburn received 40 votes.
There are two winners for German Township Trustee: Dale Frank Kellar received 105 votes and D. Ray Marker received 101 votes.
There are two winners for Green Township Trustee: Jon Paul Pelegreen received 221 votes and Ronald Hawkins received 215 votes.
There are two winners for Shortcreek Township Trustee: Jay Hopkins received 120 votes and David Richardson received 103 votes.
There are three winners for Buckeye Local School Board: Clint Powell received 88 votes, Ashley West received 65 and Mark S. Miller received 62 votes.
The Adena Village 3 mill police protection tax levy passed with 20 votes.
The Adena Village 6 mill current expenses tax levy passed with 19 votes.
The Bowerston Village 1 mill parks tax levy passed with 28 votes.
The The Freeport Village 0.89 mill current expense tax levy passed with 33 votes.
The Freeport Village current expense 1 mill tax levy passed with 35 votes.
The Freeport Village current expense 3.5 mills tax levy passed with 33 votes.
The Freeport Village 0.89 mill fire protection tax levy passed with 36 votes.
The Freeport Village 2.67 mills road work tax levy passed with 32 votes.
The New Athens Village 1 mill tax levy passed with 33 votes.
The New Athens Village 4.2 mills tax levy passed with 29 votes.
The Jewett Village 2 mills police tax levy did not pass with 99 votes against.
The Jewett Village 2.25 mills ambulance and emergency medical services tax levy passed with 118 votes.
The Cadiz Township 0.5 mill cemetery maintenance tax levy passed with 279 votes.
Three Monroe Township fire protection tax levies passed: one for 0.05 mill with 109 votes, one for 0.5 mill with 112 votes and one for 1 mill with 111 votes.
The German Township 0.2 mill road work tax levy passed with 160 votes.
The Rumley Township 2.25 mills ambulance and emergency medical services tax levy passed with 189 votes.
