The WOUB Public Media Learning Lab is once again offering a series of workshops to help you support the families of children in our region. This year the workshops are available either face-to-face or virtually. Each workshop in the series is approved for Step Up to Quality credit and is funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to the Ohio Educational Television Stations (PBS Stations). All of Ohio’s PBS stations are providing this series. You can find the complete list of face-to-face and virtual WOUB workshops here or listed by meeting type below. Registration can be completed at https://occrra.org
“One thing the providers told us when we did them all virtually last year is that they enjoyed the convivence of being able to log on at a time that worked for them,” said WOUB Educational Services Manager Deborah Brewer. “We had home providers join during nap times or in the evenings or weekends from their homes. However, bringing back in-person workshops provides an opportunity for providers to network and create materials for use in their programs. We want providers to pick the option that works best for them.”
