Fatal Head On Collision

One person is dead after a head-on collision in Wood County Monday night.
The accident happened just before 6 p.m. on Emerson Avenue.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office said the Toyota Corolla driven by Sharon Mortensen, 59, collided with the vehicle driven by Codi Norman, 25.
Mortensen died as a result of the crash.
Deputies said Norman and his two passengers, Abby Little, 23, and a three-month-old baby were transported to the hospital.
The baby was treated and released while Little was transported to a Charleston hospital.
Norman's condition is unknown at this time.
The sheriff's office said the accident is still under investigation.
