Lady ‘Cats Lose At Bowling Green

The Falcons (19-9, 10-5 MAC) opened up the game on a 19-4 run, shooting 8-of-10 to start the game. Ohio started the game only shooting 1-of-5 and had five turnovers.
Chrissy Steffen started out on fire for Bowling Green, scoring 13 points in the first half and making all five of her shots, including three 3-pointers. She finished with 14 points for the game.
The Falcons extended the lead to 21 at halftime, 44-23.
Ohio (6-21, 1-14 MAC) was led by Shavon Robinson, who shot 6-of-11 from the field and had 14 points and seven rebounds.
The Bobcats only shot 1-of-12 from 3-point range and 33 percent from the field for the game.
Defensively, Ohio did force 18 Bowling Green turnovers, compared to turning the ball over just 12 times themselves.
Bowling Green shot 52 percent from the field for the game and 38 percent from 3.
Bowling Green beat Ohio in the teams’ first matchup, 98-82 at Ohio.
Ohio will play its final regular season game at home Wednesday against Miami (OH).
